Athletic Information
Only 7th and 8th grade students are eligible to try out for sports at Roscoe Middle School. All students must have an updated sports physical on file with the school nurse before tryouts. Physicals are only good for one calendar year. Most 7th graders will need to submit an updated physical in order to try out for a Fall Sport. If a physical expires during the athletic season your child is participating in, he/she will be ineligible to practice or play until an updated physical is submitted. Your coach will have the date of your most recent physical. Permission and proof of insurance is also required. If you do not have health insurance for your child, please consider applying for Allkids Insurance, offered through the State of Illinois. You can apply online at: http://www.allkids.com/. Again, insurance is required for your child to tryout or participate in any sport. If you have any questions, please contact the school nurse or your child's coach.
